About Six Sigma Management Institute
The Dr. Mikel J. Harry® Six Sigma Management Institute (SSMI) was founded by Dr. Harry in 2003 with the purpose of exploring new and innovative ways to apply Six Sigma. One of SSMI's main objectives was to research and develop effective delivery methods so that the cost of training could be drastically reduced, making Six Sigma affordable for individuals and businesses of all sizes. This goal was realized when SSMI released MindPro®, the most comprehensive Six Sigma training system in the world. As a web-based training and coaching platform, MindPro provides an extremely flexible, self-paced learning environment that is tailored to meet the needs of individuals and businesses of any size. This means that small businesses and mid-sized companies can now enjoy the same benefits experienced by large corporations such as General Electric, Bank of America, DuPont and many others.
Another objective, which was of paramount importance, was to create a modularized curriculum that would be scaleable in both scope and depth to satisfy the varying needs of organizations as well as individuals seeking professional development. This goal has also been achieved, producing the body of knowledge used within MindPro as well as the blended training programs that SSMI offers. This enables the SSMI team to rapidly customize a curriculum for an organization without sacrificing the integrity of the content or negatively impacting the rate of knowledge transfer or comprehension.
