Mr. Phong Vu is a former executive at Ford Motor Company. He was trained as an engineer and also holds an MBA. During his service with Ford, he held many management positions spanning from research engineering to business planning and international business. One of his major accomplishments was his leadership in the engineering and launch of the first F-Series SuperDuty, a major best seller in the light truck market.
In his last assignment with Ford, he was the first Director of Corporate Six Sigma. Under his leadership, Six Sigma deployment at Ford became the largest deployment in the world and delivered and continues to deliver significant customer satisfaction improvements and financial savings for the company at a record pace. His Six Sigma works at Ford covered all areas of the Company, including technical, manufacturing and business.
He is a former US Marine officer.
